Finally, I'm done shooting my final film for this semester. After sending it to the lab and have it processed and digitalized I have the footage back. It's such a great relief to see what you have filmed and to start putting it together. For the next few days I will be editing and thinking of sound design. Talking about other subject, there is an organization in SU called University Union and every weekend they screen Hollywood movies. This Friday they are showing Angels and Demons and The Brother Bloom, so I'm really excited cause I've been wanting to watch both movies for such a long time that is just great to have it accessible to you. I'm also helping a senior on his thesis film on Saturday and on Sunday I'm going to a holiday concert in Hendrick's Chapel. Well there's a lot of thing going on in SU, but I'll keep you informed of everything. :)

Hi,

My name is Adriana Gonzalez-Vega and I welcome you to my blog: Punto de Vista (POV). I’m a sophomore film major in the Department of Transmedia. For the past few weeks there has been some interesting stuff going on in SU. A few weeks ago we had an International Film and Digital Expo and an International Forum on Sound and Music in Film. It was very interesting to have people from all over the nation showing us their newest equipment and technology. For the people that know a little bit about film equipment, I saw the new Red camera, the Penelope, and the Steadicam. I also met Garrett Brown the inventor of the Steadicam and a well-known cinematographer, he is a very nice person with a good sense of humor, which I like. I enjoyed his lecture “Movement on Cinema”, which is very useful because we are doing our final films soon.

Talking about the final film, I’m doing a casting call this week! I hope it goes well, because without actors there’s no movie. Anyways, I would keep you updated every week. Wish me luck!
